Inside, the homeowners enjoy a home theater, wine cellar, workout room, game room, home office and ample bedrooms. The kitchen, dining, and gathering room wrap around a four-season porch.

A central great room is the core of the star. One wing is garage and utility, another is the kitchen/dining/porch, the third is a master suite with his and hers walk-in closets, and the final wing is private space for guests. A large, elevated deck and stairs connect the main level with the lakefront, and a private deck offers the owners sunrise, mountain, and water views.

The shell is a traditional high-post cape with a single-story transverse wing, but the interior soars with cathedral ceilings - in the second floor master suite, the great room with two-story window wall, and the kitchen/dining/sitting with clear span vaulted trusses. Post and beam work and wide pine floors bring warmth and country charm.
